𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒖𝒑𝒔!!!

Yesterday we talked about two big mistakes people do by not knowing who their true customers are and guarding their idea
or product & services needlessly. Let’s continue looking at some more mistakes people do in general in businesses or start-ups.

3. 𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒄 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒅𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏??? – Not being expert is one thing but not knowing basics about the domains needed is business is a blunder and then on top of it is to be in the comfort of not exploring the market and taking guidance to learn. In today’s world how can you remain ignorant of IT or sales or marketing. How can you not know the power of social media? You may not be the expert in handling them, but having basic understanding as to how to get it done from experts and how much to pay for it is a must else you will find yourself spending fortunes over small things thus stressing your business big way.

4. 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒖𝒏𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒏??? – This is the biggest contradicting behavior I have seen in entrepreneurs. You have built a product for customers whom you don’t know and anybody coming to you to buy you are ready to sell. However when it comes to taking services you rely mostly on the people whom you know. And then if you belong to the category with mistake no 3 mentioned above then my dear you are in a trap. Because people known to you know your limitations and will do all that they can to extract gems out of you in return of stones. So when you are in a market to serve unknowns then be courageous to get served from unknowns as well.

5. 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑽𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒍𝒆??? – I have seen a lot of entrepreneurs thinking that, now since I am here in the market with my product and service, customers will come, or one after other word of mouth will help me grow exponentially.
I have news for them: Nobody’s coming and you’re not going to ‘go viral.’ Services don’t spontaneously go viral. High virality is almost always the product of early, deliberate and consistent “reach out to market” decisions. Spend some serious time thinking about how and why people are going to discover and share what you’re building and if you are not sharing why will others.
